Niatsu is proud to announce its third-place win at the Swiss Sustainability Challenge 2024, organized by Pax and the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW).

The Challenge recognizes innovative projects that contribute to a more sustainable future. Niatsu impressed the jury with its B2B SaaS platform, which leverages machine learning to calculate the CO₂ footprint of food industry products. The solution addresses the industry’s need for transparency and efficiency in measuring emissions while empowering companies to make data-driven decisions that improve both ecological and financial performance.

Other winners include EnableMe Insights, which fosters accessibility by integrating perspectives from people with disabilities into research and product development, and VERRETEX, which pioneers a circular solution for recycling fiberglass composites. As part of the prize, Niatsu will receive services worth CHF 4,000 to further develop its platform.

“We are thrilled to be recognized among such inspiring projects. This award motivates us to continue driving innovation and sustainability in the food industry.” said CEO Marius Semm.
