Niatsu was crowned the winner of the first-ever Oikos Catalyst competition. Held at the University of St. Gallen’s SQUARE, this inaugural event brought together entrepreneurs to tackle pressing issues in the food sector, such as food waste and overconsumption, while promoting sustainability and innovation.

The competition featured four promising startups, with pitches evaluated by a jury of distinguished experts, including:

• Karen Gräfensteiner, Founder of Gräfensteiner Swiss Real Estate
• Philipp Schnöll, Innovation Analyst at Foodward
• Ulf Marquardt, Senior Manager of Partner Development at Nestlé
